Step increment shall be granted to all deserving officials and employees for every three (3) years of continuous satisfactory service in the present position. This applies to all officials and employees appointed on permanent status. Having such conditions set forth by the policy, it is of importance to take note that;

Sabbatical

Description  
 

Sabbatical is a privilege granted to a faculty member that exempts him/he from performing his/her regular duties. This privilege is granted to encourage study, investigation, and research; and to improve their competency to better serve the University.

Application for Privilege to Study at Reduced Fees  
  The privilege to study at reduced fees is available to all University personnel appointed on a full-time basis and at a full rate of compensation, provided that in any case the period of employment during the academic term when the privilege is supposed to be availed of is continuous and at least co-extensive with the term.

Return Service Obligation

Return Service Obligation  
  The thrust of the University is to provide opportunities to its employees to further enhance their skills and capabilities through further study. As a policy faculty and administrative staff who will be pursuing further studies or training for a duration of 30 days and above shall render a return service upon report for duty.

Study Leave

Less than 30 days The Letter Request Form (OPS LB-1 Form) for Study Leave must be endorsed by the Chair/Dept. Heads and approved by the Dean with complete documents to be submitted to HRDO two (2) weeks before the start of the semester.
30 days and above
